Boots on the Ground with T Shanell: Multi-Millionaire Mompreneur

From selling hand-painted jeans at age 15 to launching her first modeling agency at just 19, T Shanell has always been a natural-born entrepreneur. Her journey began not only out of passion, but from a deep desire to fill a void she saw in the industry: underrepresentation. As a model, she experienced firsthand the lack of diversity and autonomy. She didn’t want to just walk the runway—she wanted to own it. That drive to call the shots led to the birth of her first business, and from there, her empire grew.
From One Business to Many
T Shanell was never the type to stay in one lane. While mentors encouraged her to focus on just one thing, she leaned into what made sense and made money. Fashion was her foundation—her vehicle—and with over 20 years of experience in the industry, it paved the way for multiple ventures rooted in passion and impact.
A Multi-Faceted Empire
Today, T Shanell owns a portfolio of powerful businesses that span fashion, wellness, behavioral health, and real estate. After hitting what she calls an “invisible ceiling” in entrepreneurship, she hired a business coach and reconnected with what truly lit her up. She realized that wellness, especially holistic healing, was more than a passion—it was a calling.
Out of that realization came the She Is Magik brand—a platform designed to remind women of their inner power through workshops, webinars, books, and in-person experiences. That evolved into The Healing Chamber, a multi-location holistic wellness and behavioral health business with a focus on high-performing women who often neglect themselves until burnout or illness forces a pause.
Locations in Houston (TX), Tempe (AZ), Scottsdale (AZ), and Davidson (NC) offer both short- and long-term healing experiences. With a team of counselors and facilitators, The Healing Chamber also works with vulnerable populations, including pregnant women in the system and those facing severe homelessness. The mission: to offer restoration, empowerment, and a real chance at integration back into society.
T Shanell speaks passionately about the “superwoman” façade many women wear while ignoring the warning signs within. Inspired by her mother’s health struggles, she champions preventative care and self-awareness. Clients receive individualized healing plans, including bioscans to dive deep into their physical and emotional needs—an investment in their body, mind, and soul.
Beyond Wellness: Branding, Real Estate & Coaching
Never one to stop growing, T Shanell has expanded into real estate with Airbnb properties and rentals. She’s also diving into branding, marketing, entertainment, and coaching—offering the guidance she once needed herself. She emphasizes that her businesses were born out of necessity: she created what she couldn’t find.
One of her most unique ventures? The Rodeo Queen brand. Rooted in her country upbringing on her grandmother’s farm, she blends boots-on-the-ground rodeo culture with healing, incorporating animals and nature into her wellness retreats. A horse even lives at the Davidson Healing Chamber property!
Balance, Boundaries & Building a Legacy
Balancing multiple businesses isn’t easy. T Shanell credits her success to a strong support system and the ability to say “no.” With a tight morning routine, clear boundaries, and a team that includes housekeepers and nannies, she empowers other women to embrace support without guilt. “We are not our grandmothers,” she says. “It’s okay to create space for your excellence.”
Scaling, she explains, is impossible without the right people in place. After moving to a 60-acre property in Davidson, she’s more intentional than ever about cleaning the slate when needed and hiring only those aligned with her vision.
Faith, Resilience, and Lessons Learned
Entrepreneurship has taught her one thing above all: resilience. After losing a multi-seven-figure contract, she remained calm, trusting in her faith and inner strength. “God didn’t bring me this far to leave me,” she says. Her journey has made her more intentional—especially about hiring. “You can’t hire friends and family and expect success. Sometimes, strangers will support your vision more than people you know.”
Wisdom for Aspiring Women Entrepreneurs
For young women ready to build multiple businesses, T Shanell offers heartfelt advice: “Do something you love—something you’d still do for free. That passion will carry you through the tough days.” But passion alone isn’t enough. She stresses the importance of strategy, systems, and mentors who understand your industry.
Her final word? Hustle with heart, but build with intention. The highlight reel may look glamorous, but real success is rooted in systems, healing, and purpose. And as T Shanell proves, when you align your work with your why, you don’t just build businesses—you build legacy!
