10 Things to Be Thankful For This Thanksgiving Season

Thanksgiving is a time to pause, reflect, and express gratitude for the blessings in our lives. Amid the hustle of modern life, this holiday encourages us to focus on what truly matters. Here are ten things to be thankful for during this season:

Today, Tomorrow and Time: We never know what to expect from day to day, but you can choose how to make the most of the time that you have to spend.

Hope: Having a positive expectation produces the best possible outcome. It prepares you to receive what you desire or look forward to.

Ability to pray for and encourage others, even if you are dealing with things yourself. We may not aways be able to change the experience or outcome of a situation, but we can offer a kind word or prayer that would be uplifting to yourself or those around you. Remember that this holiday season can also be difficult for some who have lost loved ones.

Naps: In all of our busyness, we must also take time to rest and reset. Self-care is not selfish, it’s necessary!

Kindness of others: This season of the year tends to bring out the best in people. Think of things that you can do to help other people. Don’t be surprised when your generosity is returned to you.

Friends and Family: We must take time to appreciate and express gratitude for the people who are close to us. Some friends may be closer than family, and that’s something to be thankful for!

Unity: As we come together with loved ones, appreciate the time spent with them. This is the perfect time to create great memories.

Love and Life: When we choose to love and honor those around us each day, those acts of kindness are appreciated and returned to you in ways that you never imagined.

As you go through this season, be sure to have a heart full of gratitude. When you focus on the good and appreciate the small things in life, you will begin to experience more of it!
