Developing Kingdom Relationships

Ephesians 4: 1-6 in the Amplified Bible says; “ So I, the prisoner for the Lord, appeal to you to live a life worthy of the calling to which you have been called [that is, to live a life that exhibits godly character, moral courage, personal integrity, and mature behavior—a life that expresses gratitude to God for your salvation], with all humility [forsaking self-righteousness], and gentleness [maintaining self-control], with patience, bearing with one another in [unselfish] love. Make every effort to keep the oneness of the Spirit in the bond of peace [each individual working together to make the whole successful].  There is one body [of believers] and one Spirit—just as you were called to one hope when called [to salvation]—  one Lord, one faith, one baptism, one God and Father of us all who is [sovereign] over all and [working] through all and [living] in all.”

As the scriptures show us, kingdom relationships require humility and unity in the spirit! You must keep the peace in kingdom relationships!

The spirit of the Lord is saying, I have called you all into Kingdom relationship not only with me but with others! When you press into my presence, I will show you the great things that I have in store for your life! These things can only be revealed when you choose to have a relationship with me! Spend time with me!

I’ll even show you things that you need to allow me to change! I desire a Kingdom relationship with you! That is, a relationship that is founded on my word and promises! Speak Kingdom language! Demonstrate a Kingdom lifestyle, choosing God’s way over the world’s or fleshy desires!

I desire a reciprocating relationship where I show you my infinite love for you and you, in return show your deep love for me! I’m calling you to be in right standing with me! In our Kingdom relationships, we are to love others beyond boundaries and faults! It’s ok to address the faults but do it in love! Kingdom relationships should have no limit on your love for others!

A kingdom relationship is also founded on trust!  I want our Kingdom relationship to be of solid trust! I tell you in Proverbs 3:5-6, trust in me with all of your heart, and lean not to your own understanding but in all of your ways acknowledge me and I will direct your paths! Let’s strive to daily establish and maintain kingdom relationships!
