Meet Christina Ford Dove, Founder of FIT4LYFE

Christina Ford Dove is a motivational speaker, founder of FIT4LYFE, and author of self-help novel “You Are The Prize”. She has created a career based on things that have improved her own life. Her methods have been well received by the masses due to the overwhelming theme of positivity. She credits this ability to remain optimistic to the love she found in her faith. Ford defines herself as a business-savvy entrepreneur, loving wife, and dedicated Christian in no particular order. Although, she is hopeful that with time, she is able to integrate her faith into her many business ventures.

You are an inspiring motivational speaker, even writing your own book “You Are The Prize”. How do you, yourself stay motivated?

Staying motivated can be challenging at times, but I stay focused by connecting with God through prayer and worship which allows me to have peace about my purpose, goals and dreams. I also have a phenomenal group of ladies that I can call on to keep me motivated, inspired and keep me accountable, so blessed! I also stay motivated with setting meaningful goals, prioritizing self care, and most importantly serving others keeps me motivated in my passions and purpose.

You are also the founder of FIT4LYFE, a faith based fitness bootcamp. What is unique about your fitness program?

It’s for all fitness levels. I encourage each person that joins as well as meet them where they are emotionally, physically, and spiritually. I always make a point to make sure each individual is better than they came so that after each session they walk out fulfilled, challenged and motivated. I always end each session with an encouraging message for the week.

Most people have someone who motivates them. Who is your role model?

My role model has to be my mother. I truly admire the woman that she was and the strength, determination, and sacrifice that she made for me was unmatched. My prayer that I make her proud with everything I do in her honor and leave her a beautiful legacy. I would also love to thank my amazing husband for being my support system, my rock, my prayer partner, my confidant and my best friend through the highs and lows. I’m so blessed to have him in my life and excited for many more chapters with him by my side.

What types of things do you like to do in your spare time?

In my spare time, I love being outside when it’s a warm sunny day, whether it be going on hikes, walking our dogs, or going to the beach. I’m also a big foodie, so I love trying new restaurants, going to food festivals and trying new food concoctions. I especially love going to amusement parks.

It’s women’s history month, what does this month mean to you as a phenomenal woman?

It’s time to reflect on my own journey as well as the other journeys of women who have made an impact in my life and in the world. To honor the strength, resilience and creativity of women. To recognize the ways in which women have overcome obstacles and broken down barriers to achieve success and make a difference in their communities. It’s important to recognize the power we have to inspire and empower others.

What advice would you give someone who wants to follow in your footsteps?

My advice would be to seek God first in everything you do and don’t ever compromise anything for anyone. Embrace your gifts and talents and know that what you are gifted and blessed with is unique to you. You are running in your own lane and your journey, so try not to compare it with anyone else’s. It’s your journey and it takes time, effort and commitment, but with faith, determination, and the support of your tribe, you will be a trailblazer and a changemaker!

Do you have any upcoming projects you would like to share with our readers?

I am working on various projects for television and film. I’m also working on a new book and a coaching series for young women. It will focus on self-confidence, entrepreneurship, goal setting, how to stay saved while single as well as courtship coaching.
