Back to school can be a hectic time for families as they transition from the carefree days of summer into the routine of ensuring their kids are fully equipped for a successful school year. However, Houston-based R&B singer Lah Pat recently provided some much-needed relief and motivation to jumpstart the school year. Lah Pat sponsored a dinner for guests and families at The Greasy Spoon Soul Food Bistro and even became an employee for the day.

Upon arriving at The Greasy Spoon, Lah Pat was warmly greeted by the owner, Max Bozeman II, who provided him with a uniform and guided him through staff training. Lah Pat was introduced to his co-workers and learned about the company’s business policies to ensure that guests received the full dining experience.

At 4:00 PM, guests began to arrive and were welcomed by Lah Pat himself with the words, “Welcome to The Greasy Spoon, I’m Lah Pat. How can I serve you today?” The menu offered three delicious options: The Kamikaze Catfish meal, Lah Pat Pork Chops, and Rodeo Stuffed Turkey Leg. The Kamikaze Catfish meal quickly became a favorite, coincidentally sharing the name with Lah Pat’s new single.
