Great health to all and blessings up everyone pressing forward with their dreams and to the Dreamers who decided to JUMP and are going forward.

As you take a moment to process all that has transpired since 2019 up until now; understand this is where you are supposed to be based on God’s divine plan. As a Professional Chef, when I am cooking, my day will sometimes thrive off the many pressures of a 24-hr clock, at times each task before me can feel like a live or die circumstance. I know I must trust in my instincts, team members and God, my anchor in all that I do. Cooking has been my therapy and mental health healing source since the tragic death of my brother, Sean. Now that I have lost my father to the same tragedy in 2020, please note he was a “Girl Dad”, and I am Daddy’s Girl; I am asking now what? The pandemic brought a lot of change for us all, it has shaken the foundation from our medical communities to the food services families to how the bereavement business is management to our education system is handle to entertainment to lifestyles to vacations to mail carriers to the jail systems and even how hospitable we have become to others or the lack thereof.

So, back to the question at hand: what is your next phase in life? How will you process all that has transpired since 2019? How much more of this change in life will you take and how will you balance life? I believe there must be a Ying to the Yang, Pepper with Salt, Cream and Sugar, Cold and Hot, Spicy and Sweet, what goes up must come down. Life must always have balance just like our architectural work crafted on an amazing plate meal. As for me, without sounding too cliché, it’s time to soften my area again with Foodies, our nerd-like conversations, demoes and strengthen my personal peace haven with soft quotes and more talks over dates and plates.

We cannot go back in life and get a do-over, but we can press forward with a greater plan, and choose an optimistic outlook for the Next Phase In Life; so no more saying: “pick your poison” fall in love with tomorrow and say “choose your fortune”.

Bringing families back to the table – since 2010
